Between January and June

It's been a long time since I wrote on this blog,
And I'll tell you all about in a later post.
I've come a long way, since January,
Oh, I can't wait to tell you about it in an upcoming post
When I write a new post.
A ton of stuff has happened in a short time of five months.  I, like the rest of the world, are dealing with the new reality of a world dealing in a pandemic.  I wish everyone health and love and hope you are all doing well.  I will delve into this at a later time, but for now I have work to do.
The main purpose of this blog is to state my intentions of participating in the month long readathon in June, called Sci-Fi Summer hosted by Michelle Miller at If you haven't signed up yet, I encourage you to do so immediately.

What a crazy time we are living in.  And what a perfect way to escape reality and delve into some fantastic fiction.  The deal with this readathon is that you can read sci-fi or fantasy. Which makes my decision on what to read during these next 30 days a bit of a dilemma.
I have been introduced into a number of amazing series in the last little while and I am at a complete loss as to what to start with.
I have discovered the Riverworld series by Philip José Farmer which is a deep look at interactions of individuals from many different cultures and time periods.
There is the lighter side of sci-fi by Robert Aspirin, The Phule's Company series where a group of ragtag military rejects are forced to prepare for battle when the aliens decide to attack them.
Or I can dive into the fantastic world of Xanth by Piers Anthony.  It is a series of 40 plus books that take place in a world of magic and puns where the author sometimes questions the meanings of reality, politics, and all other matters.
I have also recently started to get into the Doctor Who books, in which there are so many!
Or should I finally start the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.

I plan to post my reading intentions and my TBR very shortly.  Until then, stay safe, stay healthy.
It's been a long day without you, my friend
And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
We've come a long way from where we began
Oh I'll tell you all about it when I see you again
When I see you again...
